The International Olympic Committee announced they are adding five sports to the 2028 Olympic games in Los Angeles: cricket, squash, lacrosse, baseball/softball, and flag football will issue medals in 2028. Baseball/softball returns after a short absence, while cricket returns for the first time in over 120 years. The addition that makes no sense to me is flag football.
