If you’ve watched any TV lately, there’s no doubt that the holidays are almost here. The never-ending number of commercials is just one of the obvious clues. I can tell by the number of teases for the latest holiday baking shows on the Food Network. I must admit, while I do love this time of year, my waistline doesn’t. My wife is a baker and always has a few extra cookies left over for me. Plus, she’ll make at least a pie or two for Thanksgiving and Christmas. When it comes to baking, I’m a simple guy. I don’t need anything fancy like they’re whipping up on the Food Network…
