I also owned or co-owned a Kodak Disc Camera briefly. I am currently angry at my Kodak Z990, as it will not ‘snap the shutter’ when I want it to. I don’t want faces detected, I don’t want every thing in focus with zones and what not. I want to snap a picture. My Kodak ZX1440 did that. Every film camera I’ve ever had snapped the shutter when you pressed the button. It didn’t have to think. I guess I need to RTFM, although if there’s an ‘immediate’ mode, you’d think it’d be a default.
